Directions

From Elk Ave, head south on on highway 135 for a block before turning left on Red Lady Ave (At the CB School). Drive past the school and take a right onto 9th street, follow the road as it loops behind the school and park in the lot on the left hand side next to the baseball field.

Route

From the parking lot head out to the nordic track. Take the track on the left hand side heading towards the mountain. You will shortly come to a junction. Teocali Connector will be on your left and Tony's will be on your right. Take the right. Within a few hundred feet cross the Slate River via bridge. Tony's follows along the slate for a little bit before meeting up with a junction for Skyland on your right. Stay straight, cross another bridge and you will find yourself at a street crossing. Cross the street and find the junction The Maze and Middle Earth. For beginner terrain stay left and find The Maze; a flat 1 mile loop. For intermediate terrain take a right and find the Middle Earth loop; a 1.5 mile loop with rolling hills. If you want to challenge yourself head past middle earth and find the junction with Mordor at the base of a steep climb. Mordor offers steep climbs and decents along a 2 mile loop that follows the upper upper summer trail.
