Directions
Via Car:Â From Elk Ave head west towards the end of Elk. Take a right on 1st street and follow all the way down to the end then take a left on Butte Ave/Peanut Lake Road. Follow the road for a 1/2 mile around the corner past one parking area to the second parking area on the right. Map.
Route
From the parking lot head out onto the nordic trail. Take the trail on your left and follow it as it wraps around peanut lake. Stay left at the first junction, Right at the second junction then straight at the third junction and you will find yourself at Magic Meadows Hut. The Backcountry Bistro also serves organic and gluten-free pastries, treats, teas, fruit and soup, as well as local coffee, delicious pie, hot chai and refreshing libations every Sunday from 10–2pm. There is an endless amount of nordic track surrounding Magic Meadows one can explore.Â
