Nestled along the recreation path between Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte lies Rudy's Rollers. These rolling hills offer vista views in all direction. Enjoy the climbs, decents, and fresh mountain air.

Directions

From the town of Crested Butte, head North on Highway 135 (or 6th Street at it’s marked in town) towards Mt. Crested Butte. Turn right onto Gothic Ave. heading East towards Rainbow Park. At the end of Gothic Ave, the street turns left onto 9th Street. Once you turn left onto 9th Street the groomed Rec. Path will be visible on the right. Park anywhere along 9th Street. Begin walking North along the Rec. Path towards Mt. Crested Butte. Map


Route

Head out on the Rec Path across the bridge towards Mt. CB. At the first junction stay left and continue on the trail. Cross the private drive Moon Ridge and follow the trail as it wraps around the the right and climbs a hill. Here you will find Rudy's Rollers on your left. You can ride it from this side or continue up the Rec Path another .1 miles where you can gain the loop on your right and follow it from there. If you're looking for more terrain head up the Rec Path to the top or connect to The Maze.

Only the Rec Path allows dogs. There are No Dogs Allowed on Rudy's Rollers or any of the other surrounding nordic trails.
