Race two of the community series is a skiathlon: classic for the first lap, skate for the second, on a 10K course of two 5K laps starting from The Bench. 10K at 10 AM, 6K at 10:05, free kids 2K at 10:10. Festive attire is not required but has never hurt anyone’s result.
Part of the Pinnacle Orthopedics Community Race Series from CB Nordic: a different format and location each week, 5 to 25 kilometers for the main event, a 3 to 6 kilometer short course, and a free 1 to 2 kilometer kids race. Points accrue through the season, your best three results count, and the series wraps with awards after Magic Meadows Mayhem in March.
