The season opener of the community race series, a classic-technique 5K the Sunday after Thanksgiving, which is either penance or a victory lap depending on how the weekend went. Start and finish at Ruthie’s Stadium at the Nordic Center. 5K at 10 AM, 3K at 10:05, free kids 1K at 10:10.
Part of the Pinnacle Orthopedics Community Race Series from CB Nordic: a different format and location each week, 5 to 25 kilometers for the main event, a 3 to 6 kilometer short course, and a free 1 to 2 kilometer kids race. Points accrue through the season, your best three results count, and the series wraps with awards after Magic Meadows Mayhem in March.
