What the Water Brings is a contemporary dance ceremony for water, presented by the Crested Butte School of Dance at the Center for the Arts. Inspired by ancient traditions of ritual and gratitude, it is a collective prayer for rain, snow, and the health of the watershed that sustains this valley, and a reflection on the inner landscapes of abundance, drought, and renewal.
More than a performance, it is a living ceremony: choreographers, dancers, musicians, visual artists, and the audience all take part in the offering.
Two nights, Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7. Doors at 6 PM, show at 7 PM both nights. Tickets through the Center for the Arts.
