SUMMARY:What the Water Brings
DESCRIPTION:What the Water Brings is a contemporary dance ceremony for water\, presented by the Crested Butte School of Dance at the Center for the Arts. Inspired by ancient traditions of ritual and gratitude\, it is a collective prayer for rain\, snow\, and the health of the watershed that sustains this valley\, and a reflection on the inner landscapes of abundance\, drought\, and renewal. \nMore than a performance\, it is a living ceremony: choreographers\, dancers\, musicians\, visual artists\, and the audience all take part in the offering. \nTwo nights\, Friday\, November 6 and Saturday\, November 7. Doors at 6 PM\, show at 7 PM both nights. Tickets through the Center for the Arts.
