Top Crested Butte Drinks

Looking for a great time? Needing a night out? Crested Butte’s nightlife is one-of-a-kind. Whether it be the hair of the dog, some locally crafted cocktails, or a few Colorado craft brews, cruising down Elk Ave will be a memorable experience. These are a few of our favorites. And if you love wine, don’t miss the Crested Butte Wine & Food Festival happening July 25th – 29th, 2018!

django’s Kitchen: Wine on Tap

Amid a slew of tantalizing cocktails, comes an inviting wine list, including four different varieties of Infinite Monkey Theorem wines on tap and ready to sink into. You can easily sit and sip, working your way through the four varieties, but our favorite were the Malbec, Rose and Gewürztraminer. Pair the wines with a small plate to share, and you have a great apres ski hangout.

The Last Steep: Key Lime Margarita

Known best for their famous bloody mary bar on Saturdays and Sundays, we decided to navigate away from our go to and go for something a bit more sunny. Enter the Key Lime Margarita. Made with key lime juice, a less tart and immediately recognizable flavor–like biting into a silky piece of key lime pie, it’s likely our new favorite margarita in town. Order some house made chips and salsa to go along side, and you might just think you’re on the beach!

The Wooden Nickel: World Famous Nickeloshka

More of a unique story to tell your friends about, the Nickeloshka shot is a pour of Metaxa, a smooth and slightly sweet greek spirit made from Muscat wines, paired with a wedge of lemon topped with coffee grounds and a douse of sugar. Sounds weird, tastes awesome, just trust us.

The Dogwood Cocktail Cabin: Winter Squash

At the base of Paradise Lift, you can enjoy the best Bloody Mary on the mountain (bacon included), some hot cocoa, a cafeteria style food, outdoor grilling on most weekends, and even live music. If you’re sitting outside be prepared for an automatic goggle tan too. This tends to be the most popular dining on the mountain.
