Six new independent ski and snowboard films on the Majestic’s big screen, one night only, with freeride skier Dane Tudor in the room. He’ll take questions after his new film, The 4th Prime, then sign posters in the lobby. Gear giveaways run between films, so the raffle ticket in your pocket is worth keeping track of.
Saturday, October 17. Doors at 7 pm, films at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $15.
The lineup
- The 4th Prime (Dane Tudor): a new chapter and a new approach to skiing from one of freeride’s most watched athletes, still pushing the edges of what he can do.
- Ripple (Britta Winans and Delila Quinn): two skiers go back to the lake that raised them and ask what freeride skiing actually means.
- 9 Days in Japan (Trevor Kennison): Hokkaido powder, filmed in 2025, and a milestone in Kennison’s sit-ski career.
- Thank You For Playing (Carson Sharp): two skiers on a Japan trip win a mysterious arcade prize that tests their friendship.
- Guiada por el Fuego (Isidora Assler): snowboarder Isi Assler’s push to compete at the first Freeride World Championships.
- Uncle Timmy (Timm Schröder): a snowboarder recounts his career to his best friend’s kids, and the line between truth and exaggeration gets thinner by the minute.
Q&A and poster signing. Dane Tudor joins the Crested Butte stop for a Q&A about The 4th Prime, followed by a poster signing.
The Freeride Film Tour is produced by Pangea Collective, a creative agency that manages action sports athletes and produces films across skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and surfing. The Majestic Theatre is at 507 Red Lady Ave, Suite 110, in the Crested Butte Plaza off Sixth Street. Dinner before the show is a short walk: see the Crested Butte restaurant guide.
