Crested Butte Wildflower Festival
Crested Butte is known as the wildflower capital of Colorado for good reason. The high alpine valleys surrounding the town are perfectly suited for a wondrous variety of native species, which explode in brilliant color every summer. The wildflower festival began in 1986 through the efforts of a few insightful Crested Butte locals. Come to CB to enjoy the beautiful scenery and don’t forget to bring your camera or paint brush!
Throughout the week, there will be an array of activities to please everyone. You can choose from activities like 4×4 & van tours, hikes, art classes, birding & butterflies, botany & medicinal lectures, edibles, garden tours, walks, photography classes, and much more!
