The 55th annual Crested Butte Arts Festival returns to Historic Elk Avenue August 6 to 8, 2027. More than 100 fine artists set up along downtown Crested Butte in 12 mediums, including ceramics, digital art, mixed media, glass, jewelry, woodwork, painting, sculpture, metalwork and fiber, with live music and food vendors on hand to keep the browsing fueled.
Elk Avenue closes to cars for the weekend, which makes it the rare summer weekend when the street is easier to walk than to park on. Admission is free, and the outdoor, family-friendly show runs rain or shine.
