At midnight on Halloween, Jen waits up for her 18-year-old son, who has broken curfew. When he comes home she watches him stab a stranger, and her family shatters. Then she wakes to find it is the day before, and every morning she is further in the past, with one chance to find what triggers the crime and stop it.
