Now in its 45th year, the Crested Butte Arts Festival features incredible art, cuisine, exciting entertainment, artist demonstrations, children’s activities and an art auction. This is one of the best arts festivals in the nation, and an event you won’t want to miss. Elk Avenue is shut down, and artists booths line the street. If you’re interested in being an artist featured in the festival, please fill out an application by March 3, 2015 midnight MST.

Crested Butte’s source for unique new and antique hand-woven rugs from southern Iran to Tibet. With large stacks of rugs and hanging displays in the gallery, you can be sure to find a style to suit anyone’s tastes.
This gallery off of 3rd Street focuses on original landscape paintings. Its collection includes beautiful works from some of the best landscape painters working today. The Oh-Be-Joyful Gallery is named for the pristine valley close to town, which features waterfalls and dramatic alpine vistas.
This artist cooperative is made up of 14 local artists dedicated to the Crested Butte community.
