A biathlon-style race at Ruthie’s Stadium at the Nordic Center: five 1K laps of skate skiing with shooting between them, and a penalty lap on the stadium loop for every miss. 5K at 10 AM, 3K (three laps) at 10:05, free kids 2K (two laps) at 10:10. Aim small.
Part of the Pinnacle Orthopedics Community Race Series from CB Nordic: a different format and location each week, 5 to 25 kilometers for the main event, a 3 to 6 kilometer short course, and a free 1 to 2 kilometer kids race. Points accrue through the season, your best three results count, and the series wraps with awards after Magic Meadows Mayhem in March.
