Andy Falco and Travis Book of the Grammy-winning Infamous Stringdusters step out as a duo to play the songs of Jerry Garcia at the Center for the Arts. The project started backstage at Dusters shows, where the two warmed up with Jerry tunes, and at some point they figured it would be more fun in public.
They draw from Garcia’s solo material, the Grateful Dead catalogue, and the traditional songs Jerry loved to play, and the duo format lets them explore and jam in ways a full band cannot.
