Rocky Rides is the Crested Butte based answer to the question every visitor asks at baggage claim: now what? Reserved rides run from Gunnison Airport to Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte, straight to the hotel, condo, or rental, with room for the luggage and the ski bags. Longer routes to Montrose, Denver, Aspen, and Lake City run by reservation.
Pick private for a direct ride with your group only, or shared to save some money and split the cab. If no compatible shared ride exists, they bump you to private at no extra charge. Add a grocery stop, a key pickup, or a second lodging stop when you book. Put your flight number on the reservation and the pickup gets planned around the actual arrival, not the scheduled one. Drivers text when they are close and, if you ask, will narrate the valley on the way up.
Once you are in town, the same drivers handle the rest: dinner runs to Elk Avenue restaurants, rides to and from the ski area, wedding guest shuttles, and late returns after the last bus has gone home. Gunnison flights get rerouted more often than anyone admits, and Rocky Rides serves Montrose and Denver too, so a diverted flight is a phone call, not a crisis.
