4 Crested Butte Off-Season Drinks
With the leaves mostly fallen, and a nice cool chill in the air, we decided to create a list of the best drinks to enjoy this off-season. Before being named, let’s remember they don’t all have to be tasted in one night. BUT if they are, ensure your townie or designated driver is nearby. Four more seasonal Crested Butte drinks not to be missed:
Montanya Rum – Blue Smoke
This cocktail is one of our all-time favorites now! The Blue Smoke consists of Montanya’s own Oro Rum, chipotle, mango, fresh lime, agave, and fresh muddled blueberry. Imbibe on the patio and breathe in the fresh fall air for the full experience.
The Last Steep – Hot Apple Pie
(Bryan Dillon)
Apple pie in the fall is a necessity. The Steep’s Hot Apple Pie is a heated Tuaca, and hot apple cider blend that is perfect treat for those brisk Crested Butte nights.
Ginger Cafe – Irish Yogi
This is the perfect drink for the changing of seasons. Warm and with a great aroma, the Irish Yogi consists of Ginger’s homemade chai and Bailey’s Irish Cream.
The Wooden Nickel – Peppermint Schnapps
(Bryan Dillon)
We know what you’re thinking, this is a winter drink right? Yes, but fall snows are common here and this version of an extra tasty Peppermint Schnapps seems like the right fit for those powder-filled nights.
Notes: Keep in mind the altitude, as each drink packs a bit more punch up here. Check out our Dining Guide for most up to date info as restaurants and bars change hours for off-season.
