The Granddaddy of Colorado Rodeos returns for year 126. Cattlemen’s Days is Colorado’s oldest rodeo and the fourth oldest in the nation, running in Gunnison since 1900.
Nine days of western heritage: 4-H and FFA livestock shows, horse shows, a carnival, the downtown parade, and three nights of PRCA rodeo July 9 to 11 at 6:45 PM. Thursday honors the Golden Circle of Champions, Friday is Patriot Night featuring a special America 250 drone show, and Saturday closes with the Ranchland Conservation Legacy performance.
Rodeo tickets are sold online, at the ticket booth in the Gunnison Bank and Trust lot, and at the gates. The drone show is free to watch.
