Crested Butte Zombie Prom, Discounted Lift Tickets, and Fall’s Return
(10/23/13) – Halloween is fast approaching and the fall weather couldn’t be better. Lower trails are in great shape for biking, hiking, and trail running. Or if you prefer, just lounge in the sun and read a book.
Zombie Prom
For only ten bucks, crawl into the 3rd Annual Zombie Prom taking place at the Talk of the Town this Friday at 9pm. Be sure and dress like the un-dead for a chance at winning one of the ‘best costume’ prizes or at least get your traditional prom photo taken. Proceeds go to support KBUT Community radio in the Gunnison Valley. Need costume inspiration? Check out 2012′s ghoulishly great Prom Portraits!

Discounted Lift Tickets
The remaining $19 lift tickets on Liftopia for Crested Butte are nearly sold out. Once those are gone, the prices go up to $39 on the early December dates…not too bad either. There’s more snow in the forecast next week. Be sure to hop on and quit procrastinating: Liftopia
Fantastic Fall Weather
Above average temperatures have returned through the weekend and will provide a great opportunity to get out and play. Enjoy some of the lower trails that have dried out like Whetstone Vista or Brush Creek. Now is also a good time to take a trip south to Cement Creek near CB South or to Hartman Rocks near Gunnison for a little mountain biking.
