The Elk Mountains Backcountry Alliance closes out the summer with its annual meeting, and does it the right way: as a potluck at the Crested Butte Depot.
EMBA brings the BBQ, the beverages, and all the dining essentials. You bring a dish to share. Music comes from Atmospheric River, and the raffle has a genuinely good haul on the table, including a CB Nordic season pass, SUP rentals, a yoga gift certificate, a reiki session, local maple syrup, and a few surprises still to be announced.
Sunday, August 30 from 5 to 8 PM at 716 Elk Avenue. Free and open to members, supporters, and anyone interested in human-powered recreation, which around here is most people.
