Mikey’s Pizza
If you want to find out where the good food is in Crested Butte, just follow the locals at lunchtime. You may notice a lot of them head off Elk Ave to a little spot across the Big Mine Ice Rink and Nordic Center on the south side of town. Here you’ll find Mikey’s Pizza, which opened in 2007 after Mikey Larson went through the trials of working in Crested Butte’s dining industry. He found his perfect niche and has since opened a 2nd location in Gunnison, Colorado, a short drive south.

Not Just Pizza
Mikey’s Crested Butte location is the perfect take out or delivery place with a few seats inside and out. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in creativity and taste. Mikey’s menu is named around a popular activity, and a way of life here in the Butte … cycling. The Kick Stand (kids menu), Single Speed (appetizers), Second Gear (salads), and Cranking Sandwiches are all made to order with fresh ingredients.
Yes, all the food is great, however there are a few notables that stand out like the garlic bread, Greek salad, and their warm sandwiches. These are served on a fresh baked hoagie and come with your choice of chips, or the popular homemade pasta salad. Sandwiches such as the meatball, cheese steak, or caprese along with your choice of side are just $9.75.

New York Style Pies
What‘s a pizza shop without the pizza? Mikey’s serves New York style pizzas, thin and BIG. We’re talking major foldability here. Pies come in 4 sizes: 12″, 16″ and 18″, with also a 9″ gluten free option. All the fixings are offered to create your own pizza, but don’t overlook some of the specialty pies too.
Mikey’s can accommodate nearly any order, whether it be a special diet, a delivery across town or on the mountain, a quick call-in lunch order, or slices on the go. The staff is happy to accommodate your needs with quick turn-around times and affordable prices. If you’re in the area, make sure to stop into Mikey’s, for some real. good. food.
