Humans of CB: Eliza

I originally started working with Precise Painting and Rob Dickinson, and I was one of a crew of about 16 guys. They were so good to me, so nice. I didn’t have a car, so someone always picked me up to go to work and dropped me off from work. I was like, “I don’t know where I am or why these people are so nice, but here I am, on this paint crew, trying to find my way in this mystically beautiful town, thinking this must be life, post-college.”

I did a non-profit bike trip across the US, that started in Charleston and ended in Santa Cruz. . .We had our biggest elevation day from Twin Lakes over Independence Pass descending into Aspen. At that point in the trip everyone was in really good shape, and in good spirits because we had made it quite a way. I think that day in particular was really daunting for a lot of people, but all 28 people that rode that day completed that day, and did whatever the climb was, something like 2,000 feet or something insane like that. Then descending into Aspen was crazy, passing traffic and flying through aspen groves. It was one of those days in the trip that was really grueling, but really rewarding.
