Slow Cooker, Slow Food

Join Crested Butte’s Personal Chefs to slow things down. With local meat from Parker Pastures, Calder Farms and more, learn to use your slow cooker to quickly and easily create delicious and filling meals that you and your family can enjoy at the end of a long day at work, school or on the slopes. This engaging and low-key class includes recipes, tips and tricks for slow-cooking large cuts of meat, as well as education on how to source and prepare “slow food” that is good, clean, fair and local. Price includes the meal made in class and adult beverages.

Location: Crested Butte’s Personal Chefs at 241 Gillaspey Avenue in Crested Butte South (the former location of Tassinong Farms).
