Down Valley Trash and Bad Guys Wear Black bring punk-fueled chaos and outlaw grit to Almont Resort on August 16! Doors at 7PM.
Down Valley Trash is a raw and raucous alt-country and garage rock band hailing from the high country of Colorado. Blending twangy outlaw vibes with punk rock grit, their sound feels like honky-tonk colliding with a dive-bar basement. With driving rhythm guitars, whiskey-soaked vocals, and a devil-may-care attitude, DVT taps into themes of small-town mischief, lonesome highways, and working-class rebellion. Their songs feel lived in and unruly, fueled by late nights, long drives, and a refusal to play it safe. As part of a rising wave of Western underground music, Down Valley Trash isn’t trying to please anyone. They’re here to raise hell, tell gritty stories, and leave the stage a little sweatier than they found it. Expect a foot-stomping, distortion-heavy live show that hits like a bar fight and feels like home.
Bad Guys Wear Black kicks off the night with their signature brand of high-energy punk rock straight out of Gunnison, Colorado. Formed by Western Colorado University alums, they’ve built a reputation for raw performances, blues-infused riffs, and a chaotic stage presence that turns every gig into a release. Known for delivering loud, honest music with a rebellious edge, BGWB channels the angst and spirit of small-town punks who never quite fit the mold and never wanted to.
