CB Nordic: Magic Meadows Community K Challenge

The annual Magic Meadows 7 event is going virtual this year with a goal to attain 1000 Community Laps (4,800 Kโ€™s), collectively skied during the month of February!

Traditionally held as a 7 hour criterium event to see who can ski the most distance in a 7 hour period, this year weโ€™re taking a different approachโ€ฆ transforming the MM7 into a month long virtual challenge, to see how far we can ski as a community.

DOWNLOAD TERRAQUEST APP:

Downloading the TerraQuestย app onto your mobile device is the easiest method to create yourย  participant profile &ย  join the challenge.

Once you download and create your TerraQuest profile, join the Magic Meadows Community Kโ€™s Challenge.

*** Please use your SURNAME in your profile handle, so we may cross reference your real identity for prize & award distribution.***

It is possible to sync your preferred wearable device/ tracking application (Strava, Garmin, Fitbitย ) to your TerraQuest profile to streamline your ski track recording.

Start & end your ski laps at the Magic Meadowโ€™s Yurt.

How To Instructionsย โ€“ย Record your Challenge using TerraQuest app

You can follow courses and record your track in the TerraQuest app by:ย 

  • Searching for โ€œMagic Meadowsโ€
  • Downloading the course so it will work offlineย 
  • Start the app navigation at the specific start location
  • Listen for theย audibleย turn-by-turn navigation instructions
  • Stop & Saveย your track at the specific finish location.ย ย ***ย  Save yourย track activityย as a SKIย  ***
  • Your performance will automatically post to the Challenge Leaderboard
  • If needed, crop your track so it aligns with the start and finish course points by navigatingย to your trackย under your profileย on theย TerraQuest.comย website.ย 

COURSE:

The official course route Starts & Ends at the Magic Meadowโ€™s Yurt.
Laps will be tallied using this specific loop course route.
