CB Music Festival: Michael Kelly + Shannon McGinnis (Online)

Baritone Michael Kelly and pianist Shannon McGinnis (CBMF’s RISE training program directors) present Skin Deep, a program of song enhanced by projected imagery. Skin Deep includes songs which explore identity and the masks we present to the world. Compositions both old and new will be thematically accompanied by anti-portrait photography and images to illustrate the hidden truth of the human psyche.

The CBMF audience for Skin Deep will be treated to the world premier of David Wolfson’s song cycle Grand Canyon (text by Barbara DeCesare) composed expressly for Michael and Shannon.
