Crested Butte may have more dogs in town than people! We love our pooches and want you to be able to enjoy them while you’re here too. A beautiful thing about Crested Butte is that dogs are allowed on nearly every trail (just not Conundrum Hot Springs area), but must be leashed in recreation areas and in town at all times. Finding doggy friendly places in some towns may be hard, but not here.

Most retail businesses will allow pups as long as they’re well behaved and it’s not too busy. Be a responsible owner and take care of your pooch, so we can keep enjoying them. Always keep them under command, on a leash in town, and please pick up after them. Dogs will be dogs, so make sure Fido behaves!
