What to Do: Crested Butte Activities

The trout fishing in Gunnison county is some of the best found in world with cold, clear water flowing from the high mountains.

Youโll want the best equipment for your budget to truly take advantage of all of these recreational opportunities and many local shops can get you equipped. Keep in mind youโre at or over 9,000 feet above sea level for many of these activities. There isnโt much humidity up here and the sun is especially strong. Be sure to stay hydrated and donโt forget the sunblock!
