Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. The cost includes: trail passes\, equipment rentals\, transportation\, guides\, a five course dinner\, live music\, libations\, and gratuity.  \nEnjoy an Unforgettable 5 Course Meal\nGetting there \n\n\nThe Yurt can only be accessed with skis or snowshoes via a 1 mile groomed trail from the Peanut Lake Trailhead.  The trail is mostly level\, with a few rolling hills\, taking about 30-45 minutes for beginner skiers and 15-20 minutes for skiers with a bit of experience.  Our Yurt Dinners include guides that will show you the way to the yurt if you desire. You will meet your guides at the Crested Butte Nordic Center who will help you select the proper cross country ski or snowshoe equipment if needed\, and then organize transportation from the Nordic Center to the trailhead which is a quick five minutes away.  Your guides will then lead you to the Yurt on our groomed trails. \n\n\n  \nSchedule \n\n\n\n4:30 p.m. – If you need rental equipment please come to the Nordic Center (620 Second Street-at the corner of Second and Whiterock) early to get fitted with your gear.\n5:00 p.m. – Convene at the Nordic Center to meet your guides and carpool to the trail head\, unless you plan on skiing out on your own.\n5:20 p.m. – Ski out to the yurt with your guides.\n6:00 p.m. – The doors of the yurt open for cocktails and a mouthwatering appetizer.\n6:30 p.m. – Dinner service begins. SUMMARY:4th Annual CB Nordic Beer Ski (Canceled)
DESCRIPTION:Unfortunately\, due to the early spring conditions\, the Beer Ski is canceled this year.\nTest your end of season endurance\, Crested Butte Style! Grab 3 friends for a 4-person relay or take on the ultimate challenge of Solo Racer. We will be serving hot dogs and other snacks at the yurt\, with additional beer available for purchase. Competitors will receive a drink ticket for an extra post-race beer. \n  \nTickets &  Info \n  \nAll participants must be over 21 years old and show valid identification. \nSafe transportation home must be organized before the race. \nSolo racers will chug 12 oz. of beer then ski .5 mile\, repeating this four times with the fastest crowned the Drunken Master. Costumes are strongly encouraged. \nTeam Relay will consist of racers chug a 12 oz. canned beer then ski a .5 mile lap. They will remove their racing bib and hand it off to a teammate. The next teammate will don the racing bib\, chug\, ski\, repeat until all four racers have completed the course. Costumes are strongly encouraged. \nRelay Registration: Only the Team Captain needs to register per team.

SUMMARY:Historic Ski & Snowshoe to the Magic Meadows Yurt
DESCRIPTION:The museum is excited to collaborate with the Crested Butte Nordic Center to host a historic ski and snowshoe out to the magic meadows yurt! You’ll learn about the history of the area\, including the The Big Mine\, Peanut Lake Mine\, Pittsburg\, and Augusta Mines during the trip out to the yurt\, and upon arriving will be treated to a light lunch and an alcoholic or non-alcoholic refreshment of your choice. A shuttle will be provided for participants that would prefer a shorter ski or snowshoe. This tour meets at the Crested Butte Nordic Center at 11am and will last until 2pm. Includes: trail passes\, equipment rentals\, transportation\, guides\, a five course dinner\, live music\, libations\, and gratuity. \nEnjoy an Unforgettable 5 Course Meal\nGetting there \n\n\nThe Yurt can only be accessed with skis or snowshoes via a 1 mile groomed trail from the Peanut Lake Trailhead.  The trail is mostly level\, with a few rolling hills\, taking about 30-45 minutes for beginner skiers and 15-20 minutes for skiers with a bit of experience.  Our Yurt Dinners include guides that will show you the way to the yurt if you desire. You will meet your guides at the Crested Butte Nordic Center who will help you select the proper cross country ski or snowshoe equipment if needed\, and then organize transportation from the Nordic Center to the trailhead which is a quick five minutes away.  Your guides will then lead you to the Yurt on our groomed trails. \n\n\n  \nSchedule \n\n\n\n4:30 p.m. – If you need rental equipment please come to the Nordic Center (620 Second Street-at the corner of Second and Whiterock) early to get fitted with your gear.\n5:00 p.m. – Convene at the Nordic Center to meet your guides and carpool to the trail head\, unless you plan on skiing out on your own.\n5:20 p.m. – Ski out to the yurt with your guides.\n6:00 p.m. – The doors of the yurt open for cocktails and a mouthwatering appetizer.\n6:30 p.m. – Dinner service begins.
