DESCRIPTION:Each winter\, the Attitude Adjustment fundraiser is one of the biggest parties in Crested Butte\, a town known for its parties\, and this year we’re going bigger than ever – with groovy live music from The Motet and tasty bites from Burnell’s Food Truck. But the fun doesn’t stop there\, because this party’s for a good cause\, too… \nWhat started in the winter of ‘78-’79 to raise some extra money for a ski patroller who sustained life-altering injuries has since broadened its horizons\, helping support hundreds of community members and non-profits in need. Last year’s event managed to raise over $30\,000\, donated as grants directly towards this cause\, and this year we’re hoping to raise even more. So mark your calendars for February 7th\, dust off your boogie shoes\, and get ready to join us for a night of dancing\, community\, and a whole lotta fun. \nThe Motet \nAfter 26 years\, nine albums\, and over a thousand shows\, The Motet embark on another chapter galvanized in equal measure by their longstanding bond and a surge of fresh energy. Using their comedic storytelling and musical improvisational skills\, they create a brand-new seasonal favorite right before your eyes. This holiday treat begins with a festive sing-along and culminates with a movie musical based on your suggestions. Join these Jingle Bells for some yuletide fun for the whole family. Auld Lang Syne? More like\, New Song Time! \nFa la la la la\, Ha ha ha ha has been a holiday staple at Seattle’s Unexpected Productions since 2022. Sarah\, Christine\, and Guy are thrilled to bring this magical\, musical\, and delightfully unhinged show to Crested Butte. \n\nFood\nArrive early and arrive hungry! Mount Kaz will now be on-site serving delicious food from 6pm-8pm – come early\, grab a bite\, and enjoy the night! \n\nSarah HancharSarah has been a professional actor\, singer\, improviser\, and emcee for over 20 years. After earning her degree in theater\, she moved to Chicago and became an original cast member in The Second City’s Musical Improv House Ensemble. Sarah moved to Florida to work as an Equity actor at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. She was an ensemble member at SAK Comedy Lab in Orlando before moving to Seattle\, where she is currently an ensemble member at Unexpected Productions. \n\nChristine Riippi CampbellChristine has been a Seattle-based performer for more than two decades. She has worked with Seattle Shakespeare Company\, Village Theatre\, 5th Avenue Theatre\, Arizona Theatre Company\, Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre\, and many more. In 2015\, she joined the Unexpected Productions ensemble\, which has been her improv home ever since. She lives in West Seattle with her husband and daughter\, plus their two adorable (yet horribly behaved) dogs\, Gigi and Oskar. \n\nGuy NelsonGuy has been doing improv at Unexpected Productions in Seattle for 35 years. He has performed with many improv groups in the region as an actor\, musician\, director\, and teacher. He’s busy as a bandleader in several jazz bands\, cabaret shows\, and church groups. Guy also leads workshops in creativity and collaboration for businesses and organizations around the world. \n  \nTickets & Info \n
