Thursday honors the Golden Circle of Champions\, Friday is Patriot Night featuring a special America 250 drone show\, and Saturday closes with the Ranchland Conservation Legacy performance. \nRodeo tickets are sold online\, at the ticket booth in the Gunnison Bank and Trust lot\, and at the gates. The drone show is free to watch.

DESCRIPTION:Crested Butte’s 4th of July Parade is the Biggest Small Town Celebration Around! Visitors come from around the world to experience the 4th in Crested Butte. From our eclectic parade to our town water fight\, there is always fun to be found. \nEvery year around 40 floats come together to form the biggest small town parade in the States. From businesses\, to families\, to classic cars\, our parade has it all. Always bringing up the rear is the Crested Butte Fire Protection District with their ambulances and fire trucks\, lights a blaze. \nDirectly following the parade at the Big Mine Arena is our annual water fight! Squirt guns\, water balloons\, and fire hoses soak all those who participate in this water fueled celebration lead by the fire department.

The award recognizes individuals who have shown steadfast support for the Center’s mission and made meaningful contributions to the Crested Butte community. Carol has spent more than 50 years supporting nonprofits\, from early volunteer fundraising with the Detroit Symphony to a career as Senior Vice President of Development at the National Audubon Society. Since moving to Crested Butte full-time in 2008\, she has played a key role in many local organizations and helped lead the capital campaign for the Center’s new building\, completed in 2019. \nThe Arts Ball will be a fun\, high-energy evening with dinner\, dancing\, live entertainment\, and a blue-themed celebration in honor of Carol’s role in bringing “Big Blue” to life. The evening serves as a celebration of Carol’s legacy and an opportunity to come together in support of the Center’s future.
