This is a jeep trip on difficult mountain mining roads. Obstacles range from simple potholes to tight and difficult rocky trails. Jeep Wranglers are the vehicle of choice and mild additions like lift kits and larger tires are recommended. As always\, please make sure you have at least: extra water\, a functional spare tire\, an appropriate jack and tools supplied by Jeep or a highlift jack\, tire changing tools\, snacks\, extra coats and/or a blanket\, an umbrella for sun or rain\, and durable hiking shoes that are also comfortable. We do not recommend any SUVs\, but there are exceptions for vehicles that have been modified to tackle off road terrain – these vehicles will need to be approved by the CBMF via photograph. Please ask if you have any questions regarding vehicle choice.

You’ll leave with tools that increase your listening ability while gaining a greater appreciation of the wonder of music. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLecturer: Emily Ondracek-Peterson \nViolinist Emily Ondracek-Peterson is Co-Artistic Director of the CBMF. As a violinist\, she has appeared as soloist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and New York Philharmonic\, recorded for Naxos\, Bridge\, Albany\, and Toccata labels\, and been awarded Chamber Music America’s ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming. Frequently she performs at the world’s leading venues such as Carnegie Hall\, the Guggenheim Museum\, and Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw. As an educator\, she has been a two-time Morse Fellow\, was a New York Philharmonic Teaching Artist\, and has been Artist-in-Residence at Dartmouth\, Williams\, and the Universities of Virginia\, Leeds (UK)\, and Columbia. She earned undergraduate and graduate degrees at the prestigious Juilliard School and a doctorate at Columbia University. Additionally\, she holds an MBA. As such\, no outdoor alcohol is allowed at the event. Please respect this policy and refrain from bringing your own alcoholic beverages. Support the Center and future Alpenglow concerts by purchasing your libations through the Center’s bar. \nNO PETS\nAs much as we love your furry family members\, dogs are not allowed in Town Park. Please leave your pets at home. \nNO GLASS\nGlass is not allowed in Town Park. After enjoying this amazingly beautiful performance\, you’ll join experts from the Observatory to view through powerful telescopes the natural wonders of the universe. \n\n\nTickets include hors d’oeuvres and drinks! \n\n\n\n\nPerformer: Anna Arzumanyan \nRussian-Armenian pianist Anna Arzumanyan made her debut at age 9 in Sochi\, Russia. A student of Erna Savchenko and Svetlana Medvedskay\, Ms. Arzumanyan competed and performed\, appearing as a soloist with the Belorussian State Orchestra\, the Rostov Philharmonic\, the Sochi Symphony Orchestra\, and as a soloist at festivals throughout Eastern Europe. At a young age Ms. Arzumanyan was selected for sponsorship by the prestigious New Name Foundation. With their support\, she performed frequently across the Soviet Union and participated in masterclasses and performances at the Moscow Conservatory. Ms. Arzumanyan went on to perform as a soloist in France and Belgium. Before emigrating to the United States\, she received her masters degrees in piano performance and chamber music performance from the Yerevan State Conservatory\, where she studied with Alexander Gourgenov. Shortly after her arrival in Colorado\, Ms. Arzumanyan became a frequent collaborator with the Moscow String Quartet. \nGet your tickets here!

DESCRIPTION:Nashville’s hard-edged bluegrass band has won many awards\, including a Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album. This band\, with a rock and soul color\, will blow you away with its drive and energy. And\, as always\, there’s no better place to catch a bluegrass concert than the I Bar ranch – sit by the bonfire\, grab a beer\, and dance the night away. \nTimes \n5:30 pm – Gates open with bar and food (Local Parker Pastures burgers\, Calder Farms Brats\, Lawg Dwag hot dogs\, Veggie Burgers\, Gluten Free buns\, 3rd Bowl Ice cream\, etc.) available for purchase. \n6:15 pm – Storm Pass \n7:30 pm – The SteelDrivers \n  \nAdvance Ticket Prices (more than one week prior): \nLawn – $30 \nGeneral Admission Tables Under Roof – $60 \nObstructed View $65 \nReserved – $90 \nVIP – $175 – VIP tickets include a “meet and greet” with the band prior to the concert. Each VIP seats is reserved\, and is at a high top table with a bar stool just off the dance floor by the stage. It also comes with a cocktail server so you never have to jump in line at the bar. \n  \nCamping \nOnsite camping available too. If you get both nights concert tickets and camping pass (per person) you do not have to leave the Ranch. You certainly can come and go\, just have your wristband with you. No outside food or beverages may be brought into the venue. No dogs in the venue. Dogs are allowed in the camping area on a leash\, only if you have a camping ticket.
