DESCRIPTION:This event\, along with Totally Mozart (August 5) is to benefit the Arts scene of Crested Butte and provide performance opportunities  for musicians and singers. Singers making up the chorus for Totally Mozart are  Gunnison County residents as well as guests from the Front Range. The Marriage  of Figaro and Totally Mozart is being co-produced by the Center for the Arts and  the mother-daughter duo of Elizabeth and Emily Bond\, Double D Productions. \nThe Marriage of Figaro\, Mozart’s delightfully chaotic opera\, is a whirlwind  comedy of mistaken identities. It tells a story that takes place on a single crazy  day – the wedding day of servants to the Count\, Figaro and Susanna. From the  first notes of the famous overture through to their boss’s lesson in marital fidelity\,  the women are portrayed as wiser\, shrewder and more gentile than the men.  Even so\, they love their men\, and singing together\, they all make glorious music! \n  \nTickets & Info \n  \n

Be sure to wear your RED\, WHITE\, and BLUE! \nWe encourage attendees to bring their own reusable plates\, cups\, and cutlery. Proceeds from this event support the Crested Butte Fire and EMS Volunteer Squad\, the High School Explorers Club\, and Crested Butte Fallen Fire Fighter Fund. \nPre-sale tickets can be purchased at www.cbfireemsvolunteers.com. The cost is $10 for children and $15 for adults.

Starting Monday\, June 19th every week for a total of 9 weeks this summer\, the outdoor event will be held at the Center for the Arts outdoor stage once again. \nJune 19 | Juneteenth/Black Opry \nJune 26 | Violet Pilot \nJuly 3    | Rapidgrass \nJuly 10  | Jacob Larson \nJuly 17  | The Goonies\, ’80s tribute band \nJuly 24  | Izcalli  \nJuly 31  | Mighty Mystic \nAug 7  | Madeline Hawthorn \nAug 14  | Shakedown Street \n Know before you ‘glow\nThere are a few rules and regulations we must follow to continue bringing the concert series to you and we ask that you read this and respect the policies. \nNO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL\nThe Center for the Arts sells beer\, wine\, and liquor under a special events license with the Town of Crested Butte. As such\, no outdoor alcohol is allowed at the event. Please respect this policy and refrain from bringing your own alcoholic beverages. Support the Center and future Alpenglow concerts by purchasing your libations through the Center’s bar. \nNO PETS\nAs much as we love your furry family members\, dogs are not allowed in Town Park. Please leave your pets at home. \nNO GLASS\nGlass is not allowed in Town Park. Please bring your nonalcoholic beverages in cans or plastic containers. \nDO NOT EMPTY YOUR ICE CHEST\nPlease respect Town’s regulation to not empty your ice chest on the park lawn.
