Doors open at 6 p.m. \nMore Info \nThe Magic Meadows yurt is located approximately one mile from the “gronk”\, just north of Peanut Lake\, on the Nordic Trail System. The trailhead is on Peanut Lake Road\, with parking and trailhead signs designating access to our groomed Nordic Trail System. Skis or snowshoes are required to reach the yurt. Walking and biking are prohibited on these Nordic trails. The yurt is located on the Inner Magic Meadows Trails which are accessed by the Beaver Trail and the Peanut Lake Trail to the South\, or the Pooches Paradise trail to the North. All trails are marked. \n

SUMMARY:CB Nordic: Magic Meadows Yurt Dinner
DESCRIPTION:  \nRegistration Required – Tickets Sell Out In Advance \nBurn some calories on your way to a delicious gourmet feast at the Magic Meadows Yurt. This is a memorable experience for both adults and children to enjoy. Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. The cost includes: trail passes\, equipment rentals\, transportation\, guides\, a five course dinner\, live music\, libations\, and gratuity.  \nEnjoy an Unforgettable 5 Course Meal\nGetting there \n\n\nThe Yurt can only be accessed with skis or snowshoes via a 1 mile groomed trail from the Peanut Lake Trailhead.  The trail is mostly level\, with a few rolling hills\, taking about 30-45 minutes for beginner skiers and 15-20 minutes for skiers with a bit of experience.  Our Yurt Dinners include guides that will show you the way to the yurt if you desire. You will meet your guides at the Crested Butte Nordic Center who will help you select the proper cross country ski or snowshoe equipment if needed\, and then organize transportation from the Nordic Center to the trailhead which is a quick five minutes away.  Your guides will then lead you to the Yurt on our groomed trails. \n\n\n  \nSchedule \n\n\n\n4:30 p.m. – If you need rental equipment please come to the Nordic Center (620 Second Street-at the corner of Second and Whiterock) early to get fitted with your gear.\n5:00 p.m. – Convene at the Nordic Center to meet your guides and carpool to the trail head\, unless you plan on skiing out on your own.\n5:20 p.m. – Ski out to the yurt with your guides.\n6:00 p.m. – The doors of the yurt open for cocktails and a mouthwatering appetizer.\n6:30 p.m. – Dinner service begins. It is a casual affair usually lasting at least a couple of hours.\nLater that evening – Ski back beneath the twinkling stars with a full stomach and a happy spirit.\nAt the trail-head you will return gear to the van parked at the trail head and make your way home!\n\n\n\n  \nRegistration Required – Tickets Sell Out In Advance \nfor the full dinner menu\, yurt dinner calendar and to make your reservation.

DESCRIPTION:  \nRegistration Required – Tickets Sell Out In Advance \nBurn some calories on your way to a delicious gourmet feast at the Magic Meadows Yurt. This is a memorable experience for both adults and children to enjoy. Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. The cost includes: trail passes\, equipment rentals\, transportation\, guides\, a five course dinner\, live music\, libations\, and gratuity.  \nEnjoy an Unforgettable 5 Course Meal\nGetting there \n\n\nThe Yurt can only be accessed with skis or snowshoes via a 1 mile groomed trail from the Peanut Lake Trailhead.  The trail is mostly level\, with a few rolling hills\, taking about 30-45 minutes for beginner skiers and 15-20 minutes for skiers with a bit of experience.  Our Yurt Dinners include guides that will show you the way to the yurt if you desire. You will meet your guides at the Crested Butte Nordic Center who will help you select the proper cross country ski or snowshoe equipment if needed\, and then organize transportation from the Nordic Center to the trailhead which is a quick five minutes away.  Your guides will then lead you to the Yurt on our groomed trails. \n\n\n  \nSchedule \n\n\n\n4:30 p.m. – If you need rental equipment please come to the Nordic Center (620 Second Street-at the corner of Second and Whiterock) early to get fitted with your gear.\n5:00 p.m. – Convene at the Nordic Center to meet your guides and carpool to the trail head\, unless you plan on skiing out on your own.\n5:20 p.m. – Ski out to the yurt with your guides.\n6:00 p.m. – The doors of the yurt open for cocktails and a mouthwatering appetizer.\n6:30 p.m. – Dinner service begins. It is a casual affair usually lasting at least a couple of hours.\nLater that evening – Ski back beneath the twinkling stars with a full stomach and a happy spirit.\nAt the trail-head you will return gear to the van parked at the trail head and make your way home!\n\n\n\n  \nRegistration Required – Tickets Sell Out In Advance \nfor the full dinner menu\, yurt dinner calendar and to make your reservation.

DESCRIPTION:  \nRegistration Required – Tickets Sell Out In Advance \nBurn some calories on your way to a delicious gourmet feast at the Magic Meadows Yurt. This is a memorable experience for both adults and children to enjoy. Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. The cost includes: trail passes\, equipment rentals\, transportation\, guides\, a five course dinner\, live music\, libations\, and gratuity.  \nEnjoy an Unforgettable 5 Course Meal\nGetting there \n\n\nThe Yurt can only be accessed with skis or snowshoes via a 1 mile groomed trail from the Peanut Lake Trailhead.  The trail is mostly level\, with a few rolling hills\, taking about 30-45 minutes for beginner skiers and 15-20 minutes for skiers with a bit of experience.  Our Yurt Dinners include guides that will show you the way to the yurt if you desire. You will meet your guides at the Crested Butte Nordic Center who will help you select the proper cross country ski or snowshoe equipment if needed\, and then organize transportation from the Nordic Center to the trailhead which is a quick five minutes away.  Your guides will then lead you to the Yurt on our groomed trails. \n\n\n  \nSchedule \n\n\n\n4:30 p.m. – If you need rental equipment please come to the Nordic Center (620 Second Street-at the corner of Second and Whiterock) early to get fitted with your gear.\n5:00 p.m. – Convene at the Nordic Center to meet your guides and carpool to the trail head\, unless you plan on skiing out on your own.\n5:20 p.m. – Ski out to the yurt with your guides.\n6:00 p.m. – The doors of the yurt open for cocktails and a mouthwatering appetizer.\n6:30 p.m. – Dinner service begins. DESCRIPTION:Everybody’s favorite Bistro returns to Magic Meadows this season\, serving up organic and gluten-free pastries\, treats\, teas\, chai\, fruit and soup\, plus local coffee\, delicious pie and festive\, refreshing libations with a warm fire\, sunny deck and weekly specials. \nMore Info \nThe Magic Meadows yurt is located approximately one mile from the “gronk”\, just north of Peanut Lake\, on the Nordic Trail System. The trailhead is on Peanut Lake Road\, with parking and trailhead signs designating access to our groomed Nordic Trail System. Skis or snowshoes and trail passes are required to reach the yurt. Walking and biking are prohibited on these Nordic trails. The yurt is located on the Inner Magic Meadows Trails which are accessed by the Beaver Trail and the Peanut Lake Trail to the South\, or the Pooches Paradise trail to the North. SUMMARY:Annual Alley Loop Nordic Marathon
DESCRIPTION:The Alley Loop is not your typical American Birkebeiner Qualifier.  The course starts\, finishes\, and passes through the heart of downtown Crested Butte winding around on snow covered streets\, narrow alleys\, and one lane bridges.  At any given time\, you may be cheered on by an alley party\, find yourself surrounded by oompa loompas\, or skiing past a train of people connected by a crazy costume. \nRacers are sometimes forced to make quick passes and depending on their luck\, may even get stuck on a bridge for a few seconds. Once you make it through town\, you are rewarded by pristine tracks and epic views on the outskirts of Crested Butte. If you like normal\, you may want to look for another race.  If you are up for anything\, this is right up your alley! \nTickets & Info \n  \n \n
