DESCRIPTION:Tickets & Info \n  \nPerpetual Groove caught everyone by surprise in 2015 when they returned to the stage after a two-year hiatus. The band performed eight weekends that year\, over multi-night runs\, to sold-out shows in some of their favorite cities across the country\, thus ringing in a new chapter for Perpetual Groove. The band resolved to make a big change by taking the time to craft\, and bring to focus\, music that stays true to their creative vision. \nThat change is here on their new self-titled album. The band recruited producers Jason Kingsland and Tim Friesen to help them accomplish the most engaging and sonically-gratifying Perpetual Groove album to date. While recording at The Fidelitorium in Kernersville\, NC and Studio MG in Roswell\, GA\, the band and producers engineered an album that will define Perpetual Groove for years to come. Seven new songs were written by the band specifically for this album representing all that life brings—loss\, redemption\, and hope. \nPerpetual Groove continues to create a cultivated\, unique experience for each live show. This new chapter for Perpetual Groove showcases the continuing evolution of their music and performances. This is a band that is fully realized and ready to bring their new sound\, storytelling\, and live experience to the masses.\n

When Sarah Anderson and Paul DeHaven met and began playing together in 2004\, they had no idea just how deep the well of their musical partnership would prove to be. After the disbanding of indie-folk sweethearts Paper Bird\, the duo founded Heavy Diamond Ring and never looked back. HDR is the culmination (thus far) of their signature sound\, a fountain of open-hearted\, folk-rock\, steeped in vocal harmony and group synergy. \nLed by Anderson’s smooth-as-honey vocals and DeHaven’s rugged guitar chops\, the band has been described as “open-road\, long drive music”\, having “a little bit of twang\, and a whole lot of beef”\, and their live show as “infectious and contagious”. The band is rounded out by veteran knockouts Blake Stepan (bass)\, Mike Lang (keys)\, and Orion Tate Ignelzi (drums). Their second full-length LP\, “All Out of Angels”\, out this fall\, was produced by Ben Wysocki (the Fray) and Mark Anderson and features a duet with Nathaniel Rateliff. There will be bike hauls on the Red Lady Express. \nThe Evolution Bike Park was established at Crested Butte Mountain Resort in 2009. Since the beginning it has been designed to meet the needs of all riders; from cross-country aficionados\, beginners on two wheels\, and gravity experts.  Evolution Bike Park is becoming one of the best in the state of Colorado. With 25 trails covering 30 miles of singletrack\, the riding opportunities reflect the roots of mountain biking history here in Crested Butte. \nBoth lift served downhill trails and cross country rides connect to some of the legendary rides in and around Crested Butte.  The landscape in the valley\, and the views from the trails of Mt. Crested Butte are some of the most beautiful you’ll see on two wheels.  Getting to ride in one of the birthplaces of mountain biking\, with an impeccable backdrop\, is an experience you won’t want to miss.

Featuring Rebirth Brass Band with support from Indoni and live poetry from the Dark Goddess Collective. The event is proudly supported by the Town of Mt. Crested Butte and Crested Butte Mountain Resort. \nFor almost 4 decades\, the Grammy winning Rebirth Brass Band has been “stunning” fans with a fiery live show and a rich musical catalog. Their trademark sound pays homage to the New Orleans brass band tradition while weaving a tapestry that combines elements of jazz\, funk\, soul\, R&B and the sounds from the streets they grew up on. From their legendary 25+ year run of Tuesday nights at the Maple Leaf to stages all over the world\, Rebirth is the soundtrack of the Crescent City and her premier musical ambassador. \n
