SUMMARY:American Heart Association: Skill Check-Off for CPR/AED\, First Aid & Heart Code BLS
DESCRIPTION:American Heart Association’s Blended Learning courses are designed to teach students the cognitive information and psychomotor component needed for CPR\, AED\, First Aid and/or BLS training. Upon completion of the online portion\, students must complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA Instructor. \nThe blended learning courses consists of 2 parts: \n1.  The online AHA training\, which needs to be completed PRIOR to the skills check-off session. Please note\, you must complete your online training from the American Heart Association (AHA). Unfortunately we cannot do a skills check off if you complete online training through the Red Cross. There is a seperate fee for this online class that will be paid directly to the AHA when you register. \n2.  Registering here and attending a scheduled hands-on skills check-off session. There is a $40 fee that covers the cost of the AHA card. \nDuring the skills practice session\, students have the opportunity for one-on-one time with an AHA instructor to ask questions\, receive feedback and gain confidence performing skills. Following any practice or questions\, a skills test with the instructor is the final step to earning a Heartsaver First Aid\, First Aid with CPR & AED and/or Heartcode BLS Course Completion Card. \nOnce the online portion has been completed\, print your certificate and bring it to class. For greater sucess\, it is recommended the hands-on skills session be conducted shortly after completing the online portion. \nHeartsaver CPR AED First Aid: \nhttps://shopcpr.heart.org/heartsaver-first-aid-cpr-aed-online \nHeartsaver First Aid: \nhttps://shopcpr.heart.org/heartsaver-first-aid-online \nHeartsaver CPR AED: \nhttps://shopcpr.heart.org/heartsaver-cpr-aed-online \nHeartCode BLS: \nhttps://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls \n\n\n

SUMMARY:Live at Almont Resort: Easy Jim
DESCRIPTION:Tickets & Info \n  \n“Settle back easy\, Jim…” The words of Robert Hunter in the song “Althea” seemed to fit the mold of the band when it began in the fall of 2018 . The laid back group of musicians from Gunnison and Crested Butte\, Colorado found a common love for the music with one another and a desire to learn and perform the material. \nThe six piece ensemble features the same instrumentation as the Grateful Dead including two drummers and four part vocal harmonies. Easy Jim is known for their exciting original improvisations\, high energy performances\, and attention to detail. No two shows are ever the same and it’s always Easy Jim’s mission to provide a visceral concert experience that pays tribute to one of the most infamous rock ‘n’ roll bands\, The Grateful Dead . \nwww.easyjimband.net

SUMMARY:Live at Almont Resort: Rattlesnake Milk
DESCRIPTION:Tickets & Info \n  \nOriginating from the vast and desolate southern plains of Texas\, Rattlesnake Milk produces a unique\, unruly\, and rebellious style of music that defies categorization. Rather than being analyzed and compartmentalized\, their music is deeply rooted in the world around them\, yet possesses an otherworldly quality when compared to contemporary country music. \nThe band’s origins are shrouded in mystery\, much like their musical creations. The tale begins with whispers emerging from the obscure corners of country music—a self-released cassette titled “Snake Rattle and Roll” in 2013\, which intertwined the eerie rockabilly of 1950s teen idol Ricky Nelson with the chaotic cowboy gothic of The Birthday Party. This was followed by a self-titled full-length album eight years later\, leaving little else to be known. \nLegend has it that they emerged approximately a decade ago in Lubbock\, Texas\, born out of a handful of home recordings made by singer Lou Lewis while working on a cotton farm for a family friend in the Texas panhandle. Joining forces with Andrew Chavez from La Panza and Psychic Flowers\, Corey “Chencho” Alvarez from Veda Moon\, and Eric Pawlak\, Rattlesnake Milk aimed to capture the expansive\, desolate\, and driving soundscape of the Texas panhandle while breathing life into those initial demo recordings. \n

SUMMARY:Live at the Center: Leftover Salmon
DESCRIPTION:For the past quarter-century\, Colorado’s Leftover Salmon has established itself as one of the great purveyors of Americana music\, digging deep into the well that supplies its influences; rock ‘n’ roll\, folk\, bluegrass\, Cajun\, soul\, zydeco\, jazz and blues. \nDuring their twenty-five plus years as a band they have headlined shows and festivals from coast to coast\, released nine albums\, and maintained a vibrant\, relevant and influential voice in the music world. \nThe evolution of Leftover Salmon’s music is influenced by Leftover Salmon co-founders Drew Emmitt (mandolin/vocals) and Vince Herman‘s (guitar/singer) keen musical instincts\, and follows a musical path that adheres to the deep tradition the duo started when they first formed the group along with deceased banjo player Mark Vann. \nThe addition of new band members over the years has nurtured an unmistakable evolution and freshness in Leftover Salmon’s sound\, and has added an edge to the long-lasting power of the band’s music. \nTickets & Info \n

SUMMARY:Live at Almont Resort: Sqwerv
DESCRIPTION:Tickets & Info \n  \nSqwerv’s roots run deep in the Denver music scene. Those roots began to take hold through open jams and a little bit of luck when Sqwerv started playing gigs at bars and small venues in 2017. Since then\, Sqwerv has become a staple in Denver’s music scene with bands like Magic Beans\, Squeaky Feet\, Eminence Ensemble and Rado. \nThis four-piece Indie-Psych Rock band’s love for classic rock\, psychedelic music and improvisation creates a sound that is refreshingly original and exciting. Sqwerv realizes the importance of good songwriting and is always pushing themselves in the improvisation. The band spends a great deal of time writing lyrics\, composing\, and developing song structure that has grown into a catalogue that ranges from twelve minute prog songs inspired by Homer’s Odyssey to two minute psych songs about love. They are fiercely driven to get to those transcendent\, improvised spaces that all jam-music lovers crave. Sqwerv continues to deliver to their audiences through groove\, counterpoint\, polyrhythms and risk taking. \n

SUMMARY:Live at Almont Resort: The Last Revel
DESCRIPTION:Tickets & Info \n  \nThe Last Revel is a three-piece folk group from Minneapolis\, Minnesota. Utilizing their multi-instrumental abilities\, members Lee Henke\, Ryan Acker\, and Vincenzio Donatelle\, bring a full spectrum of modern Americana to life with lush arrangements of three-part vocal harmonies\, acoustic guitar\, upright bass\, fiddle\, and 5-string banjo to consistently support impassioned performances of their honest and heartfelt songwriting. \nDrawing influence from their salt of the earth Midwest ethos the band’s songs so naturally blend the genres of Folk\, Old Time String-Band and Indie Rock to create a sound that echoes the current heartbeat of America. \nTheir latest release\, Dovetail\, highlights each member’s strength as songwriters and collaborators\, and further solidifies their musical foundation after a hiatus beginning in 2019. Self-produced and released under the bands own label\, Sheep Sheep Records\, Dovetail is the band’s fifth studio album. \n

SUMMARY:Live at Almont Resort: Perpetual Groove
DESCRIPTION:Tickets & Info \n  \nPerpetual Groove caught everyone by surprise in 2015 when they returned to the stage after a two-year hiatus. The band performed eight weekends that year\, over multi-night runs\, to sold-out shows in some of their favorite cities across the country\, thus ringing in a new chapter for Perpetual Groove. The band resolved to make a big change by taking the time to craft\, and bring to focus\, music that stays true to their creative vision. \nThat change is here on their new self-titled album. The band recruited producers Jason Kingsland and Tim Friesen to help them accomplish the most engaging and sonically-gratifying Perpetual Groove album to date. While recording at The Fidelitorium in Kernersville\, NC and Studio MG in Roswell\, GA\, the band and producers engineered an album that will define Perpetual Groove for years to come. Seven new songs were written by the band specifically for this album representing all that life brings—loss\, redemption\, and hope. \nPerpetual Groove continues to create a cultivated\, unique experience for each live show. This new chapter for Perpetual Groove showcases the continuing evolution of their music and performances. This is a band that is fully realized and ready to bring their new sound\, storytelling\, and live experience to the masses.\n

SUMMARY:Live at Almont Resort: Heavy Diamond Ring
DESCRIPTION:Tickets & Info \n  \nSome things are just meant to last. When Sarah Anderson and Paul DeHaven met and began playing together in 2004\, they had no idea just how deep the well of their musical partnership would prove to be. After the disbanding of indie-folk sweethearts Paper Bird\, the duo founded Heavy Diamond Ring and never looked back. HDR is the culmination (thus far) of their signature sound\, a fountain of open-hearted\, folk-rock\, steeped in vocal harmony and group synergy. \nLed by Anderson’s smooth-as-honey vocals and DeHaven’s rugged guitar chops\, the band has been described as “open-road\, long drive music”\, having “a little bit of twang\, and a whole lot of beef”\, and their live show as “infectious and contagious”. The band is rounded out by veteran knockouts Blake Stepan (bass)\, Mike Lang (keys)\, and Orion Tate Ignelzi (drums). Their second full-length LP\, “All Out of Angels”\, out this fall\, was produced by Ben Wysocki (the Fray) and Mark Anderson and features a duet with Nathaniel Rateliff. Out now on Cowboy Cowabunga Recordings. \n

SUMMARY:Live at Almont Resort: The California Honeydrops
DESCRIPTION:Tickets & Info \n  \n“The California Honeydrops…evoke the greasy rumble of Booker T and channel the spiritual ecstasy of Sly and the Family Stone.” -Rolling Stone \nFormed in the subway systems of Oakland\, retro-soul outfit The California Honeydrops are an electrifying group that defy convention at every turn. They’ve become a mainstay at festivals including Byron Bay Bluesfest (Australia)\, Outside Lands\, Monterey Jazz\, Lightning In A Bottle\, and touring with B.B. King\, Dr. John\, Bonnie Raitt\, Buddy Guy\, and Allen Toussaint. \nLed by the enigmatic and energetic frontman\, Lech Wierzynski\, and drummer Benjamin Malament\, each member of the band is a virtuoso in their own rite — Yanos “Johnny Bones” Lustig on saxophone\, Lorenzo Loera on keyboards/guitar\, Beaumont Beaullieu on bass\, and regularly accompanied by Scott Messersmith on percussion\, Oliver Tuttle on trombone\, Leon Cotter on saxophone/clarinet\, and Miles Lyons on trombone/sousaphone — navigating through a vast repertoire of original songs and timeless classics every night. \nBut what truly sets them apart is their unwavering commitment to the art of improvisation – a skill so finely honed that they have completely abandoned the use of set lists and no two shows are ever the same. Off stage\, their music has been streamed more than 200 million times\, and placed in a variety of TV and films\, including “Dead To Me\,” “Alaska Daily\,” “Black-ish” and more. They are currently touring North America in support of their new deluxe album\, ‘Soft Spot’. \n
